I love seeing senior managers making contributions to blogs: it’s rare that they can sustain on of their own. Larry Orecklin the General Manager responsible for System Center and Virtualization has a post on Virtualization team blog which is worth reading. We’re expecting the RTM of our Virtual Machine Manager at the end of the month. And that’s just the beginning; you will see additional product news from us as the quarter progresses.
What’s the additional news ? That’s anybody’s guess. I know that a people attending the Tech-Ready event in Seattle at the end of July told the product team customers were really keen to get access to WSV; that’s my experience too. Might they be looking to start the public beta earlier than originally planned ? Of all the possibilities that it could be, that’s the one I’d most like it to be – but I’ve got no hard evidence to suggest that’s what it will be.
